Brief Description of Research Interest :
Dr. Yike Li is currently a research scientist in the Department of Otolaryngology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In 2007, he received his MD degree from Fudan University in China. He finished his residency training in Shanghai Eye and ENT hospital in 2009. Later in 2016, he received his PhD degree in hearing and speech sciences from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Li has been working in the field of otolaryngology for over 10 years. His research interests focus on neurolaryngology, otology, and speech language pathology. Most of his recent publications investigated the application of electrical stimulation to the laryngeal muscles as a treatment approach to bilateral vocal fold paralysis. Dr. Li has published over 10 articles as a first author in peer-reviewed journals. He also serves as a reviewer and editor for multiple journals.
